There is nothing to write
except for the barren words
and the work.
The inkpots have gone dry.
Cleaning up the cabinet
searching for
some old papers
has made my hands dirty.
The white paper has become
yellow.
My thumb hurts.
My mind yearns for an
untimely rain, though
the clouds
refuse to pour down.
Today, I walk one step more
to closing the diary
and
banishing the thoughts.
